In September 21 – 29, 2013, an international youth exchange took place in Vratsa, Bulgaria. A group of young visually impaired persons took part in labour market trends workshops, ice-breaking games and excursions to historic and cultural monuments of the region.

The “Let’s speak up! for improving our democratic vision” project will last for 18 months from January 2010 till June 2011. It is conducted by organisations based in Forli’ (Italy) and Cluj (Romania) and will involve young participants between 18 and 30 years old.
It’s winter again and this means that we’re back on the skating ring. As children in the Highschool for the Visually Impaired already got used to, we’re giving them again the chance to practice skating or start learning it.
For those children who have behaved well, Saint Nicholas came a little earlier this year and, to their surprise, took them out, to have pizza at the restaurant.
On September 30, 2009 was launched the accessible section of the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania in Cluj-Napoca. This accessibility is a real, truly made for blind people, for access to culture.
Between 18 and September 26, the activities of Playing Together project took place in Călimăneşti, Vâlcea, Romania. There were participants from Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania and Spain.
On September 12 there was the third General Assembly of the Association Pontes. It took place in Cluj-Napoca, in one of the halls of the building of High School for the Visually Impaired .
Pontes Association has established its first branch outside of Cluj. Even if the organization are enrolled members across the country, until June this year, only the core of Cluj was very active.
In the period April-June 2008, Holding Brinel from Cluj-Napoca held ECDL courses for people with visual disabilities. The project ran from April 5 to July 5, 2008 was able to provide the visually impaired persons all means to obtain an internationally recognized IT certification.
On 09/11/2009 at 17:00 it will be held in the reading room of Octavian Goga Library, street Mihail Kogălniceanu, no. 7, a seminar to disseminate the results of project „European Friends”.
On Saturday, the fifth of April, there was organized the first meeting for the ECDL course, for the visually impaired, by Holding Brinel in cooperation with Pontes.
Between 26.01 and 04.02. 2008, Pontes, in cooperation with A.C.T.O.R., made possible the participation of 6 visually impaired pupils and students in a “Youth in action” project, consisting in a sport and intercultural exchange focused camp in Bulgaria.

The Fundraising Campaign, which will take place between March 6thand and December 2007, aims to raise the amount of money necessary for buying a Braille printer.
The Foundation for European Studies in Cluj-Napoca has donated to Pontes nineteen books, which value approximately 90 euros. The books, which focus mainly on European politics and culture, will be scanned and made available to all the users of the virtual library.
